Hours of operation to serve alcoholic beverages are between the hours of 6:00am and 2:00 AM, seven days a week. If liquor is being served the premises must remain open to the general public. For example, if an establishment typically closes at 10p.m. but wants to continue serving a group of customers after closing time, the establishment must also stay open to the general public during that time as well. What this means is, yes, you have to serve guests that come in after closing. If you decide to close down shop early then you cannot serve the guests any new alcohol orders, they can finish what they have and that is it.
So what I am telling might be a little upsetting, but state law mandates that we serve guests who walk in even a half hour after closing, unless we want to cut off guests that did arrive before closing.
Also there are food service requirements for beer,wine, and spirits restaurants. You must contain a menu of at least 5 different complete meals, a complete meal means an entree plus one course.
